Raffle Rules & Important Information

Please read the following basic rules before purchasing a ticket. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these raffle terms.

Blairgowrie Public Pool Grand Reopening & Swim Event

You do not have to be there to win.

You do not need to be present at the event to win. Winners will be contacted using the details supplied when purchasing or registering their tickets.

Eligibility

The raffle is open to all eligible participants. Entrants must provide a valid name, email address and contact number so that winners can be reached.

Ticket Prices

One raffle ticket costs R50. A bundle of ten raffle tickets costs R400. Each issued ticket number represents one entry into the draw.

Ticket Validity

Only fully paid and officially issued raffle tickets will be included in the draw. Ticket numbers must be generated or recorded through the official BCA raffle system.

Draw Date and Venue

The draw will take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at the Blairgowrie Public Pool Grand Reopening and Swim event.

Attendance Is Not Required

Winners do not need to be present at the draw. Winners will be contacted using the contact details supplied when their tickets were purchased or registered.

Winner Selection

Winners will be selected from the valid ticket entries recorded in the raffle system. Each prize will be allocated to a winning ticket according to the draw process used by the BCA.

Prize Collection

Winners must respond within a reasonable period after being contacted. Collection or delivery arrangements will be confirmed directly with each winner and may depend on the individual prize or sponsor.

Prizes

Prizes are donated by participating sponsors. Prizes are not transferable for cash unless the sponsor expressly agrees. Prize descriptions and values are based on information supplied by the sponsors.

Incorrect Contact Details

The BCA cannot be held responsible where a winner cannot be contacted because incorrect or incomplete contact details were supplied.

Campaign Changes

The BCA reserves the right to make reasonable administrative changes to the draw arrangements, timing or prize allocation where necessary. Any material change will be communicated through the official pool website or BCA channels.

Use of Proceeds

Raffle proceeds will support Blairgowrie community projects and initiatives, including ongoing pool maintenance and improvement requirements.

Final Decision

The BCA’s decision regarding ticket validity, winner selection and prize allocation will be final, subject to applicable law.
